Tamanend Upper Southampton Park, 1255 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966

A new parking lot was just constructed right next to a paved connector path to the trail. Cross the one-lane bridge, make a right at the stop sign, follow around the circle to the parking lot.

Mile marker 1.0 on the NRT

The Former Southampton Train Station, 613 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966 (Second Street Pike & Knowles Ave, next to Strathmann Ace Hardware).

Trail Amenities: Portable Restroom. Plenty of nearby businesses for refreshments. Steam Pub is right across 2nd Street Pike and is also in the process of revitalizing the Train Station into a Coffee Shop.

Martin and Maggie Hoeger, who own the Steam Pub on Second Street Pike in
Southampton, show off a rendering of their plans to rehabilitate the former
Southampton Train Station into a coffee shop, which will serve coffee, ice cream,
smoothies, fruit and açaí bowls and fresh baked goods to locals and trail users. They
are hoping to open by summer or early fall.

Montgomery County’s, Pennypack Extension, 0.83 Miles from County Line Rd to Byberry Road is also complete.

You can now ride/walk/run 18.25 Miles from Bristol Rd to the Delaware River in Philadelphia’s Holmesburg neighborhood.
